Discover the patisserie of dreams

Born in Paris in 2009, La Patisserie des Rêves has quickly gained a reputation for its breathtaking delectable collection of cakes and distinctly playful decor that invoke the memory of childish pleasure. With stores in Paris and Japan, the boutique patisserie has arrived in London with its award-winning pastries and gateaux created by universally acclaimed pastry chef, Philippe Conticini and visionary hotelier, Thierry Teyssier.

Visiting La Patisserie des Reves can only be compared to entering a magnificent world of sweetly scented childhood dreams, infused with lovely memories and sprinkled with joy! The stylish contemporary decor and clean lines compliment perfectly these unique and artful, freshly made pastries. Only the highest quality ingredients are imported directly from France for the design and creation of the delightful treats. Some personal favourite are the Paris-Brest, Saint-Honoré, Tarte au Citron, Blueberry and almond tart and the Rose biscuits to name, but just a few.

The original Paris-Brest was created in 1891 to mark the Paris Brest bicycle race. Chef Conticini’s renewed classic is voted best in Paris and comes as a circular shaped choux pastry, representing a bicycle wheel that hides a delicious liquid praline heart within each and every bite. The Saint-Honoré, homage to the patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs, beautifully layers a crisp caramelised puff pastry base with lashings of cream and baubles of choux pastry filled with glossy crème patissiere. The Éclairs at La Patisserie des Reves come in a choice of two flavours- sumptuous chocolate and Italian coffee. Light choux pastry is nestled within an elegant chocolate coat in this inventive reimagining of the classic éclair.

In addition to the classics, you can enjoy seasonal desserts such as Mango/ pineapple tart, Raspberry or Rhubarb tart. Fresh croissants and pain au chocolates are displayed alongside bonbons, cookies and chocolate brownies in glass cabinets. For the keen bakers who would like to try and create some of the pastries themselves, there are caramelised nuts, baking sugars and jars of praline as well as Conticini’s recipe book!
